Past Projects

Startup Production Scaling

We redesigned multiple plastic parts to optimize them for 3D printing, then set up their production. Thanks to additive manufacturing, this startup saved 6 months of development time and hundreds of thousands in mold costs. The part pictured had previously been ruled out for anything but injection molding, due to its complex geometry and need for a high-quality aesthetic surface finish. After our redesign, the part met every required quality standard — while cutting production time, labor, and material usage. To this day, hundreds of these parts are already in use on real products. And thanks to additive manufacturing, the design could be refined and improved along the way — something that would have been far more costly and time-consuming with traditional molding.

Custom Photography Frame

A customer approached us with a request for a custom frame for a niche photography format. Since the frame was meant to be given away as part of a service, low cost was a key requirement.Within a week and a half, we went from initial concept through prototyping and final approval to delivering the first 100 frames.

Drone Charger Redesign

We teamed up with wireless charging company Magnetika to develop a wireless drone charger they were building for a customer.Starting from an initial design, we reduced the part count by 50% and made the design modular so it could accommodate different drone types — all while improving the surface finish and significantly reducing manual labor.

How we work

1. Send the part or idea
You send us a file, sketch, photo, or description.
2. We review the use case
We look at function, stress, material, environment, quantity, and finish.
3. We suggest improvements
We advise on material, print orientation, redesign, cost, and production method.
4. We produce and iterate
We print the part, test the result, and prepare small-batch production if needed.
